FRD hosts Love & Pride in legendary poptemple Paradiso, with Fierce Ruling Diva's Abraxas, Lady Kier, Vive La Fete, former FRD dancer now dj Natarcia and many others. The party is a huge success and extensively filmed and photographed.

Filmed in an empty warehouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, starring Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy from Married With Children) and James Marshall (from Twin Peaks). In a weird coincidence, FRD ran into David Faustino (Bud Bundy) two years later in the heart of Amsterdam and took him out to party...

This is the official letter from theAmsterdam police received by the owner of the barge on which we've hosted Subtopia for the 2nd time to immediately stop the after hours club.

May 1989
Manchester's Hacienda crew flew to Amsterdam to celebrate it's 7th birthday at the Amsterdam RoXY. New Order were not programmed to play, but were likely to join the crew and be there. FRD's Flamman & Abraxas just vacated their home on the Albert Cuyp streetmarket, which was up for demolition. As big New Order fans, they set up to lure the group to their home, pretending to be an after hours hotspot. Flyers for the "Hacienda After Hours" were handed out at the RoXY and after 5 am, Barney & crew actually rang the bell and joined the party! Mission accomplished... The after hour parties continued for 4 weekends and were then moved to a vacated sauna complex on the Damrak which was renamed Planet E. After 4 weeks on the Damrak, FRD discovered a vacated discotheque in the Koggestraat which turned out to become the first after hours acid/techno club in Holland!

September, 1988
Flamman & Abraxas host "Dranketeria" on Fridays at the Marconi, the radio-cafe that is connected to the Radio 100 pirate radio station where Abraxas has started a weekly radio show "The Power Hour Of Dance Noise".

Juli 1988
After moving to Amsterdam from New York, carrying a record crate and a drum computer, it's time to launch Jeff as dj! Jeff adapts the name "Abraxas" as his dj pseudonym and J & J make an "Abraxas" poster and hang it all over the center of Amsterdam to raise curiosity and start the confusion. Jeroen, meanwhile, starts learning how to program the drumcomputer, learning about MIDI, etc., to move towards recording their first very own House track...
